LS Electric Main Distribution Board (MDB)

The LS Electric Main Distribution Board (MDB) is a type-tested, IEC 61439-2 compliant assembly engineered for primary building and plant distribution up to 690 V AC. Designed for busbar ratings up to 6300 A and short‑circuit withstands in the 50–100 kA/1s range, the assembly uses a verified busbar system with temperature‑rise measurements and short‑circuit verification per IEC 61439-1/2. LS Electric product families integrated into the MDB include Susol and Metasol moulded-case circuit breakers (MCCBs) with thermal‑magnetic and electronic trip units, LS MC contactors for motor feeders, and iS7 variable frequency drives for controlled motor circuits and soft starting.
